KAKINADA: YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy sought the support of all political parties and groups in the State and said that the time had now come to exert pressure on the Centre for special status.
He visited Achampet village in  Samalkot Mandal of East Godavari district on Sunday as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

Addressing the gathering, he said that the statewide bandh would reflect the agony of the people of AP and express their feelings towards the Centre. He appealed to all the parties and other organisations to cooperate with the statewide bandh on July 24 in the interests of the people.

Jagan lashed out at CM Chandrababu Naidu and accused him of hurting the sentiments of people by failing to secure special category status (SCS) to State. “Naidu and the Centre colluded and denied the people of Andhra their rights. Who is the CM to say that a special package is enough?” he questioned.
