VIJAYAWADA: Hitting out at the TDP government for wasting taxpayers’ money in the name of Nava Nirmana Deeksha, APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy has described the event as a propaganda tool of the TDP.
In a press release on Monday, he condemned the TDP’s efforts to mislead people in the last four years and its manipulations to evoke their sentiments and emotions. The TDP government has been wasting taxpayers’ money every year for its own publicity, he said and demanded that it release a white paper on the amount spent on Nava Nirmana Deeksha till date.
Taking exception to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s repeated remarks that the Congress had irrationally divided the State, he demanded to know why the TDP chief didn’t suggest ways to rationally divide the it at that time. He reminded that the TDP had boycotted the meeting on State bifurcation. He said the APCC would release a chargesheet on TDP misrule in last four years and observe June 8 to 15 as ‘Praja Vanchana Varam.’
