VIJAYAWADA: The YSRC has found fault with the TDP government for failing to confront the Central government over the Kadapa steel plant issue.
Speaking to mediapersons in the city on Thursday, party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said the TDP was acting as if the SAIL report, which states that Kadapa steel plant is not feasible, was a new thing. The fact is that the SAIL submitted its report on December 2, 2014, itself.
“What was the TDP doing all these years? Why has it not confronted its ally at that time and followed up the issue to ensure that Kadapa gets the steel plant?” he questioned and described the TDP’s protest today as nothing but a “drama” to mislead people.
