Cyber crimes on the rise: DGP Malakondaiah

DGP Malakondaiah has said that cyber crimes are on the rise in the State. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the DGP admitted that cyber criminals are using internet centres.

KADAPA: DGP Malakondaiah has said that cyber crimes are on the rise in the State.  Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the DGP admitted that cyber criminals are using internet centres and added that the offenders are getting training in cyber crimes in Jharkhand. He asked the general public not to disclose OTP to anybody.

The DGP said that steps were being taken to bring the notorious red sanders smuggler Sahubai to the State. He said that 662 new SIs would be posted soon to bring down the crime rate.

Malakondaiah made it clear that there was no presence of Pardhi gangs in the district and asked people not to believe in such rumours.  He said that She Teams would be deployed soon to check eve-teasing. Rayalaseema IG Ghattamaneni Srinivas, SP Babuji A and OSD Naeem were present.
