RAJAHMUNDRY: “In my every step of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, I feel that my father (YS Rajasekhara Reddy) is walking with me,” Opposition Leader and YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy said on the 200th day of his padayatra. Addressing people at Bheemanapalli in Amalapuram constituency of East Godavari district on Wednesday, Jagan said he is comfortably going ahead with the walkathon even on the 200th day from a stage when he and the party wondered whether he could tour the length and breadth of the State. “This is because of the blessings of the God and support of people. I feel like my father is walking along with me,’’ Jagan said.

Jagan said the problems of the people that he had firsthand experience during his padayatra immensely hurt him. Listing out the problems being faced by the people, the Opposition Leader said that farmers are facing severe hardship as their loans were not waived and they are not getting remunerative price for their produce. “The TDP government had deceived the farmers,’’ Jagan alleged.

The YSRC chief said that the student community too is facing hardship. Jagan said the person sitting in the Chief Minister’s chair should work with zeal to address the problems of the people. “However, such a scenario is not visible now,’’ he said.
