Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has said that the 100-year-old dream of Krishna delta farmers was realised with the inauguration of KL Rao Sagar Project, popularly known as Pulichinthala Project. He said the project is a balancing reservoir of 45.77 TMC capacity which helps the Krishna delta farmers to begin their agricultural operation much earlier, avoiding the possible threat of cyclones and heavy rain.

Speaking on the welfare and developmental schemes being implemented by his government, he said that Andhra Pradesh had been adjudged ‘The Best State in Governance’ by a media group in the study of ‘The state of the States’.
