Minister's car catches fire at Bhongir

Minister Ramreddy Venkata Reddy’s car caught fire at the Bhongir bypass in Nalgonda district on Sunday.

According to sources, the minister, along with eight others, was heading to Hyderabad after attending an inauguration ceremony in Warangal when the incident occurred.

On noticing smoke emerging from the vehicle’s engine, the driver alerted the minister and the other occupants.

Soon the engine was engulfed in flames and the whole vehicle was charred.

Speaking to the mediapersons later, the minister said that all the members in the car escaped unscathed and were safe.
