TUMKUR: A host of leaders and thousands of devotees from different walks of life thronged at Siddaganga Mutt to wish seer Sri Shivakumara Swamiji on his 105th birthday on Sunday.
Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, his son Vijayendra, V Somanna, Jagadish Shettar, Tumkur MP G S Basavaraju and MLA Suresh Gowda were among the visitors from the BJP.
While from the Congress, KPCC president G Parameshwar, Rajya Sabha deputy chairman Rahman Khan, Rani Satish, S Shafi Ahmed and others paid their visit. Former minister C Chennigappa was the only leader from the JD(S) present at the Mutt. APMC director and former DC C Somashekara, IPS officer P S Harsha, Tumkur DC R K Raju wished the seer.
