BANGALORE: After the felicitation programme organised for BSY by his supporters in Shimoga on Saturday, BSR party president B Sriramulu will hold a community convention in BJP’s “home constituency” Shikaripur on Monday.
According to party sources, Sriramulu who will participate in the function organised to celebrate Valmiki Jayanthi will also be felicitated by his followers during the event. Sriramulu, who formally launched BSR party recently, announced his decision to undertake a 54-day padayatra from Bidar to Bangalore. His decision to hold a rally in Shikaripur, Yeddyurappa’s home turf raised many eyebrows in political circles. However, BSR Party sources, denied any political significance of the convention.
