BANGALORE: A total of 24 candidates were debarred across the state for indulging in malpractices in the II Pre-University mathematics examinations on Tuesday.
Bijapur continues to top the ignominious list with 18 candidates, followed by two each in Belgaum and Mandya and one each in Bidar and Chikballapur districts.
It may be recalled that the mathematics examination, which was to be held on March 20, was postponed after it was reported that the question paper had leaked a day before the scheduled date of examination.
