GULBARGA: “I am ready to face any inquiry on report of State Minority Commission which claims that I have encroached Wakf property,” said Union Labour Minister Mallikarjun Kharge.

On allegations in the report, which claimed that many Congress leaders, including Dharam Singh and Qamarul Islam, have encroached on Wakf property, Kharge said that he has a house near Aiwan-E-shahi Guest House and another at Basava Nagar. Let the government find whether they belonged to Wakf property and whether I have encroached them, he said.

Former CM Dharam Singh, told reporters that he would retire from politics if the charges of his encroaching Wakf property were proved. Let the state government hold any kind of inquiry, I am ready to face it, he added.
