KJP has no future: Karnataka CM

People of Karnataka have never encouraged regional parties and always supported national parties. The Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) has no future, Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar told reporters at a mass marriage function at Maski near here on Monday.

He said that the BJP government will complete its full term. “Disciplinary action would be initiated by the BJP high command against the MLAs, MPs and leaders who have identified themselves with the KJP,” he added.

He said that another delegation will go to New Delhi to urge the Centre to pass the Bill on amendment of Article 371 of the Constitution in the ensuing winter session.

He attributed the cause for delay in distributing houses under Aasare scheme to a technical snag.
