HASSAN: The 21 trekkers, including eight engineers, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody by Sakleshpur police for allegedly trespassing the Kabbinale Reserve Forest area in Sakleshpur taluk on Saturday were released on bail on Monday. Sakleshpur Rural police on Saturday arrested B Naveen, Swaroop, Avinash, Likit, Akash, D V Avinash, Abhay Keshav, S Avinash, Swapnel, Amit, Narendra, K Prarthana, Shranya and Hema - all engineering students from BMS College, Bangalore. Srikanth, Deepu, Siddalingeshwara, Chaitanya, Sampat Kumar, Surendranath, Dakshinamurthy, Basavaraj Gowder, engineers from different private companies in Bangalore were also arrested and produced before the judge following a complaint by RFO Ratnaprabha in this regard.
