BANGALORE: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dr G Parameshwar urged Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda to take immediate measures to fill the vacant post of Karnataka Lokayukta following.
Speaking to Express, he said that the Governor being a legal luminary himself must have strong reasons in rejecting the name of Justice Bannurmath whose name was recommended by the Chief Minister for the post.
“With the rejection of the name suggested by the Governor, the CM should immediately convene a meeting of all those concerned and spend no time in recommending new names for the post,” he said.
