'Nudity in land of Sri Krishna painful'

SHIMOGA: Strongly condemning the rave party incident in St Mary’s Island near Udupi, where allegedly foreigners were in semi-nude attire and consumed prohibited substances, state BJP president K S Eshwarappa averred: “Nudity in the land of Sri Krishna causes pain.”

He said he will speak to Chief Minister D V  Sadananda Gowda in this regard and urge him not to encourage such issues in a bid to develop tourism.

Eshwarappa added that the BJP will hold a meeting of elected representatives and office bearers across the state in order to organise the party for the upcoming elections.
