BELGAUM: Muslim religious organisation Jameeat-El-Muslimeen appealed to advocates not to plead on behalf of the accused in the murder case of 10-year-oldJabeer Todiwale.

Like the police, the organisation also suspected the role of people practising black magic and witchcraft behind the  murder.

In a memorandum submitted to the Belgaum Bar Association, the organisation strongly condemned the brutal murder of the fourth standard student. About 12 cuts made with some sharp weapon were seen on the boy’s body. The marks on Jabeer’s neck indicate that he was strangulated.

Since some marks were found at the edge of his tongue and private parts, the organisation suspected the role of those practising black magic and sought an inquiry into the murder.
