BANGALORE: BJP national general secretary Ananth Kumar said that the Governor H R Bhardwaj needs to function according to constitutional norms while appointing the new Lokayukta. “The Governor has to function as per the collective decisions and recommendations of the Cabinet. Nothing else be said on the issue,” he addressed the media after unfurling the tricolour at Jagannath Bhavan, the state BJP office, here on Thursday.
When questioned on the delay in appointing the Lokayukta, he replied, “Please ask the Governor.”
