BANGALORE: Following the March 2 violence at the City Civil Court, the High Court on Wednesday issued notices to Union and state governments, Press Council of India, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary of Home Department, DG&IGP Shankar Bidari, City Police Commissioner Jyothi Prakash Mirji and ACP of Halasur Gate Police and others, further directed the Police Department to protect the evidence of the incident which took place at KR (KR circle) and Mysore Bank Circles.More than six PILs petitions were filed before High Court. The petitioners argued the police laticharged on advocates violating the rules. Though Home Minister R Ashok was in city, he did’nt visit the spot. A division bench of CJ Vikramajit Sen and Justice B V Nagarathna prorogued the case to March 14.
