BANGALORE: Following an appeal by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa challenging a single judge order dismissing his pleas for quashing the summons issued to him by a lower court in land scam cases, the High Court on Friday directed the complainant Sirajin Basha to file a reply within 10 days.
Senior counsel Uday U Lalit arguing for Yeddyrappa stated that there is no merit in the single bench order which was dismissed. Basha replied that he needs 15 days to file a reply. To this, Lalit said that if the court permits him 15-days time to file reply, the same should be extended to other instances. Basha has also been directed to give copy of reply two days in advance to petitioner.
