BANGALORE:  In connection with alleged land grabbing case against BJP MLA from Dasarahalli S Muniraju, the Lokayukta sleuths, on Friday, filed their final investigation report to the Lokayukta Court.

In the report, the police stated the allegations against the MLA were prima facie proven in the investigation.

The police also sought permission of Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah to prosecute Muniraju. The Lokayukta Dy SP H S Manjunath submitted the report before the Judge N K Sudheendra Rao, who later adjourned the case till March 17.

The report is in connection with a private case filed by Puttaswamy, a resident of Kereguddadahalli in Yeshwantpur Hobli. He accused the MLA of forging documents to grab one acre and 15 guntas of land that belonged to Mallamma, the mother-in-law of the complainant.

Tahasildar Ranganath, Revenue Inspector Suresh, private persons Parameshwarappa and Rajamma were also accused in the case, filed in November 2011.
