CHAMARAJANAGAR: Gundlupet police nabbed seven youths from Bangalore within 30 minutes after they allegedly vandalised Nilgiri Resort, other than killing a Labrador dog and assaulting security guard, near Bandipur National Park on Saturday.

The seven accused, who were in an inebriated state, allegedly escaped after the incident, but Gundlupet sub inspector Lakshmikanth Talwar and others arrested them from the outskirts of Gundlupet, following an alert by resort owner Chandrashekar. The arrested have been identified as Arun Kumar (25), contractor, Shrinivas (30), sales manager in Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kiran Kaushik (31), interior designer, Harish, an employee working in Vikasa Soudha, Raghu, analyst in Accenture, C K Bhushan, manager in Agni Properties and Mahesh.

Gundlupet police said the incident took place in the wee hours of Saturday in Nilgiri resort. Gundlupet police have produced all the seven accused before the court.
