DAVANAGERE: The state BJP has brought the ongoing political events to the high command’s notice and will abide by its decisions, said state BJP president KS Eshwarappa here on Sunday.

At a private programme, Eshwarappa revealed that the resort politics of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa before the budget session, comments on Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, Excise Minister Renukacharya’s statement that he was hurt that Yeddyurappa was not given a suitable post and other political events were all placed before the high command.

Regarding the Lokayukta ordering an inquiry into the incident where the Excise Minister apparently ordered liquor from an excise officer, Eshwarappa said he had not got the full details.

“There is no dissidence in the BJP. All are working in unity to organise the party,” he said.

He added that for the first time after independence, Shimoga was given more funds for development by Yeddyurappa.

“Some industrialists are felicitating him for this work and it was not organised by Yeddyurappa,” Eshwarappa said.
