BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadanada Gowda on Tuesday clarified in the Assembly that the alleged suicide of a girl in the city was not related to the leak of PUC question papers.

“As per a report following a preliminary enquiry, the suicide has nothing to do with the leakage of the question paper... exact reasons will be known post investigation,” the CM said, in reply to query raised by Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah.

‘Hassan-B’lore Line Works by 2014-15’

The ongoing works in the Hassan-Bangalore railway line is expected to be completed during the financial year of 2014-15, the chief minister told the Assembly.

In his reply to a question raised by H D Revanna of JD (S), Gowda said that the cost on account of changing the route as well as the alignment — on account of the Kunigal stud farm — will be borne by the state government.
