BELLARY: Condemning the police inaction against those who attacked him in March 2010, mine owner Tapal Ganesh speculated a conspiracy to murder him by former minister and jailed mining baron G Janadhana Reddy.

Addressing reporters here on Wednesday, Ganesh said Reddy is hatching a conspiracy to kill him along with his inmates at Parappana Agrahara Jail. “Many of my well wishers say that Reddy will do something against me if he gets released.”

He said that Chanchalguda Jail in Hyderabad was suited for Reddy because the jail officials there expressed concern at Reddy’s claim to spend another ten years in Parappana Agrahara. “This is evident of the luxuries he is enjoying at the Bangalore jail,” he added.

Ganesh alleged that Reddy’s aides Karapudi Mahesh and Swastik Nagaraj were behind the attack on him.

He appealed to the SP for protection besides taking stringent action against his attackers.

The mine owner, who was briefly with the BJP, urged that illegalities of Obulapuram and Antaragange Companies could be be made public with the aid of proper inspections.
