Man lodges plaint to find his son's 'lost leg' in Shimoga

A man has lost his leg from below the knee and claims he doesn't know how or where! This is the amazing complaint filed in Shimoga rural police station by the man's father.

According to the complaint, Manjunath (25) of Kashipur had been to Shikaripur along with three of his friends Maruthi, Kashi Suresh and Kapi Ravi to attend the funeral of his niece on August 14, who had committed suicide earlier.

While returning from Shikaripur to Shimoga via Rathnagiri, he and his friends drank liquor at Shikaripur, Savalanga and Abbalgere. Manjunath reportedly slept in the auto they were travelling in, while the friends stayed at a dhabha. When he woke up, his leg was not there.

In the beginning, the case was filed at the traffic police station, but later his relatives had complained in the rural police station that Manjunath's leg was cut. Now, the police have interrogated Manjunath's friends Maruthi, Kashi Suresh and Kapi Ravi.

Manjunath's father Krishnappa said that they had been to Shikaripur. The incident happened while coming back. According to police, he suspects the hand of Maruthi in the incident.
