Shirahatti MLA Ramanna Lamani is reportedly vacationing in Thailand.
A rumour was doing the rounds in undivided Dharwad district on Thursday that Lamani along with his close associate and ZP member M S Doddagowdar is in Thailand to escape the KJP.
Party sources in Gadag confirmed Lamani’s tour. It is said that Lamani has fled in order to avoid KJP leaders, at least till the Budget session.
Lamani had recently said that he has benefited a lot from B S Yeddyurappa, but on the advice of his followers, he would not leave the BJP to join his party.
