Though the Budget document has mention of Yeddyurappa’s pet Bhagyalakshmi scheme, it does not dwell on the fund allocation.
For the current fiscal, Rs 500 crore was allocated for it by Sadananda Gowda. When contacted by Express, Shettar said that Rs 350 crore has been set aside for the scheme and it was not scrapped.
