DVS lashes out at leaders

Former CM D V Sadananda Gowda vented his anger on some state BJP leaders whom he termed selfish and self-centred.

Gowda told reporters here on Monday that he was upset with the recent developments in the state BJP but he would sort it out by holding talks with the high command. He also rubbished allegations by KJP campaign committee chairman Dhananjaya Kumar that he would join the JD(S). “I will not quit the party. Kumar is spreading such rumours to defame me,” Gowda said.

The party will win more seats provided the leaders work unitedly setting aside their selfish interests, he said. Meanwhile, BJP national organising secretary Satish held talks with Gowda. Satish requested him to participate in the poll campaign.
