BSY slams BJP government

KJP president B S Yeddyurappa said the Jagadish Shettar-led BJP government is in coma and has stalled all development works in the state.

He told reporters here on Monday that though the government was aware of the local bodies elections, it had failed to utilise the funds reserved in the last Budget. Till December last year, only 46 per cent of the funds allocated in the budget was utilised, he rued. He said that ULB polls are platforms for the party to prepare and organise for the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.

He would not release the party manifesto for the elections, but would ask votes on the basis of works he has done as the chief minister, he added.
