HUBBALLI: Six people who were on their way to attend the Madigara Mahasamavesha in Hubballi, were killed on the spot after the vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident near Konnur Cross in Gadag district.
Identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Following the accident, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced Rs one lakh compensation for the families of the deceased.
