BENGALURU: Almost two days after two actors went missing in a suspected case of drowning during the filming of Kannada film 'Masti Gudi', the rescue team recovered the body of Uday Raghav in Thippagondanhalli Lake in the city.

The body was found on Wednesday around 3.30 pm in bloated condition and was sent for postmortem soon after.

Since Wednesday, deputy commissioner V Shankar and deputy inspector general for Fire and emergency Service H S Revanna were supervising the search operations at the lake.  On Wednesday morning, four divers had also joined the rescue operations.

Search is on to find body of Anil, who had jumped into the lake from a helicopter while shooting for a action sequence along with two other actors.

Police security was beefed to regulate the entry of locals and curious visitors gathered at the lake.

Meanwhile, police have arrested producer, director and other crew involved in the movie shooting.
