HUBBALLI: State JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy was finally able to find a house in Hubballi and the house-warming ceremony will be held on November 18.
Pontiffs of various mutts, priests fom churches and Muslim leaders will grace the occasion, said MLA N H Konaraddi.

He said: “We wanted to identify a big house in the city as he is a mass leader. Hundreds of people will visit him everyday and the residents in the surrounding houses should not feel disturbed due to this. Hence, we identified a house in a remote area with pleasant atmosphere. The house is located at Mayakar Colony in Bhairidevarkoppa.”

The house built in 6,000 sqft area has five bedrooms, kitchen, a huge hall, a gym and a home theatre. Only Kumaraswamy will stay in this house. Another building, identified just in front of the house, will be used as party office, said corporator Rajanna Koravi. The JD(S) leaders expressed confidence that Kumaraswamy’s stay in Hubballi at least for 10 days a month will definitely help build the party further.
