Mysuru: Venkata Shetty (52), prime accused in the shooting and killing of a tiger in Maddur forest range in Bandipur National Park,  committed suicide by hanging himself in his fields.

Venkata Shetty, a resident of Hoonagahalli, was picked up by the Forest Department along with Manju, as they were suspected of killing the tiger. Though they had come out on bail, the prime accused committed suicide on Thursday .
