‘Govt won’t support bandh, but Cong will’

The bandh is called by opposition parties to condemn the invalidation of high value banknotes.

MYSURU: Home Minister G Parameshwara on Saturday said the state government “will not support” the nationwide bandh on Monday, but the Congress party “will participate in it”. The bandh is called by opposition parties to condemn the invalidation of high value banknotes. About 4,000 policemen  personnel deputed for legislature session at Belagavi have been sent back to their districts to manage law and order during the bandh.
