BENGALURU: Sandalwood actors, directors, musicians and others joined hand on Friday and extended their support to Karnataka Bandh.
Senior actors like Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Shivaram, Leelavathi, Jaggesh, Shruthi along with other actors like Vijaya Raghavendra, Ragini, BC Patil and many more sat dharana near Karnataka Film Chambers office near Shivananda Circle.
While Shruthi said they are here not as artist, but as a Kannadiga they are supporting the bundh. Actor Jaggesh said for them any protest, be it Mahadayi or Krishna or Cauvery, all are same. "We are here to support farmers,'' he said.
They were seen wearing black cloth on their shoulder. While addressing the crowd, actor Shivaraj Kumar was annoyed as his fans were cheering seeing actors. "We are here for a serious issue. One should know why you or we assembled. Do not cheer us, do no whistle. Extend your support for Cauvery,'' he said.
