BENGALURU: BJP is set to stage a state-wide protest against the “corrupt Congress government” on Monday. BJP State president B S Yeddyurappa will lead the protest, which is to be held in front of Town Hall.
Party leaders and workers will hit the streets protesting against the alleged payment of `1,000 crore by CM Siddaramaiah to the Congress high command and the alleged `150 crore kickback in the steel flyover project.
BJP cadres are also angry over the CD released by Congress leaders recently showing purported conversation of Yeddyurappa and Union minister Ananth Kumar admitting that BJP leaders too sent money to party leaders in Delhi during the BJP regime in the state.
Yeddyurappa has termed the CD as ‘edited to malign the BJP leaders’ and challenged the Congress to release the complete conversation.
