KARWAR: On the lines of NaMo Brigade, a BSY Brigade will be formed in all districts of the state to counter K S Eshwarappa-led Sangolli Rayanna Brigade, said state BJP Yuva Morcha vice-president Bheemashankar Patil.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said, “We will convince B S Yeddyurappa in this regard and start the BSY Brigade on the lines of NaMo Brigade which was launched prior to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. A decision in this regard will be taken after the state BJP executive meet in Kalaburagi.”

Eshwarappa had started Rayanna Brigade for his personal political gain. He is damaging the state BJP by involving in anti-party activities, he alleged. “He never spoke about Sangolli Rayanna before and he doesn’t even know about Rayanna. But for the last many months, he has been active in the Brigade activities,” Patil alleged.

“Eshwarappa used to speak about the party and its principles. Once he dedicated himself to the party principles, but now he is not happy with the popularity of Yeddyurappa. Therefore, he has formed Rayanna Brigade only to damage the image of the party” he said.
