The police had recovered fake degree marks cards of various universities from her car. CCB sources said during the investigation, Yashashwini told the cops about the involvement of Prajwal and others following which they were arrested. The sources said some more arrests will be made within as well as outside the state in the coming days.

How the kingpin had a love for luxury cars
Sources said that the kingpin Prajwal was drawing a monthly salary of `9,500 from KSOU. Incidentally, he used to drive luxury cars such as Benz and high-end motorbikes. He joined KSOU as a group D employee about four years ago, but managed to get a clerical job thanks to his ‘contacts’. First, he was posted in the examination section and later he was moved to the admission section. This is how Prajwal, son of a moneylender, gained access to the key sections that deal with examinations and admissions.
