State govt transfers 8 IPS officers

 In a major reshuffle, the state government on Wednesday transferred eight IPS officers. ■ M N Reddi, Director General of Police and Commandant General, Home Guards and Director, Fire Services, Bengaluru, has been posted as Director General of Police, Intelligence. 

BENGALURU:  In a major reshuffle, the state government on Wednesday transferred eight IPS officers. 
■ M N Reddi, Director General of Police and Commandant General, Home Guards and Director, Fire Services, Bengaluru, has been posted as Director General of Police, Intelligence. 


■ Neelmani N Raju, Director General of Police, Internal Security, has been posted as DGP and Commandant General, Home Guards and Director, Fire Services.


■ Dr Rajvir Pratap Sharma, Additional Director General of Police and Managing Director, Karnataka Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd, has been given additional charge as Additional Director General of Police, Bengaluru Metropolitan Task Force.


■ Prashant Kumar Thakur, Additional Director General of Police, Bengaluru Metropolitan Task Force, has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Forest Cell.


■ B Dayananda, Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, has been posted as Inspector General of Police and Commissioner, Transport and Road Safety.


■ N Chaitra, Superintendent of Police, Chikkaballapura has been posted as SP, Railways, Bengaluru 
■ Dr Ram Niwas Sepat, Commandant, First Battalion, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bengaluru, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Bengaluru city.


■ Dr Anoop A Shetty, Superintendent of Police (Railways) Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Chikkaballapura.
