BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday launched the ‘Swachh Map For Swachh Bharat’ mobile application at a Women’s Day celebration organised by Congress MLA N A Haris Foundation at Cambridge Layout in the city.

It provides a feature where the users can click pictures and tag the location where it was clicked and raise complaints that will be addressed by the department concerned within 24 hours.

The officials will have to revert with before and after pictures to close the ticket successfully. Users can also escalate complaints that will directly reach the MLA.

The app designed under the grants secured from Intel is being used in Siligiri, Bhopal, Rajkot and Gurgaon, the organisers said.
