HASSAN: Expressing unhappiness over a recent statement of his wife Bhavani that their son Prajwal will contest the 2018 assembly elections from Rajarajeshwarinagar or Belur, JD(S) leader H D Revanna said on Friday that the decision of his father H D Deve Gowda and brother H D Kumaraswamy would be final.

Stating that Prajwal has a “bright future in state politics”, he added that his son will stay away from contesting elections if his brother and father do not give him a ticket.

He said there are speculations that somebody hatched a conspiracy to drive a wedge between Kumaraswamy and himself. The Gowda family is united and never pave the way for any differences, he said.
