BENGALURU: “Siddaramaiah government has been administered a ‘resounding slap’on its face by the authorities of the income tax department, with them calling Siddaramaiah’s bluff,” said BJP MLA and Spokesperson Suresh Kumar.
“The ‘transparent chief minister’ stands exposed. The time-tested and wise saying, ‘the king is without clothes’ rightly applies to Siddaramaiah,” Suresh Kumar said.
Siddaramaiah had said that the BJP was using the I-T department to pressurise D.K Shivakumar, Minister for Energy, to join BJP. The I-T authorities have now made a categorical statement that the chief minister’s statement is factually wrong, false and baseless.”
The statement of the I-T authorities proves beyond doubt that Siddaramaiah is a pathological liar. His flamboyant talks and nasty habit of belittling others with contempt have been demolished, he said.
