MYSURU: Railway Minister Piyush Goyal held ‘rail pe charcha’ with people by travelling in Mysuru-Chennai Express train on Monday.
Goyal, who was in the city to take part in the inauguration of Mysuru-Bengaluru double track and other development works along with PM Narendra Modi, returned to Bengaluru in the train.
Railway staff and passengers were shocked when they saw Goyal in general compartment and the minister walked from one sleeper coach to another interacting with travellers. He enquired about their journey, services, cleanliness and also sought suggestions if they have any.
