“Wild animals and birds do not enter my fields fearing the human-like cutouts of the smiling leaders. Besides the cutouts of the leaders, we are also using hoardings, flexes, buntings and banners that were disowned after the rallies. We use them as carpets for processing foodgrain, as fences for our gardens, and as walls for bathrooms and toilets. We have also tied colourful buntings around our fields also scare away birds,” he added.
