BENGALURU: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is all set to undertake a four-day tour in Badami - the seat he barely managed to scrap through in the recently concluded assembly elections. Siddaramaiah, who is yet to visit his home turf of Chamundeshwari after a humiliating defeat to JD(S)’ G T Devegowda will tour Badami to thank his voters, party workers.

While Siddaramaiah is scheduled to address corner meetings, host lunches for party workers and visit 43 panchayats in four days, the highlight of the tour is expected to be a workers rally in Badami on June 11.
The event, sources close to Siddaramaiah said, will be a message to those within and outside the party that despite a loss in Chamundeshwari, the mass appeal of Siddarmaiah is intact.
