Revanna calls on Siddu
MANGALURU:PWD Minister H D Revanna on Tuesday called on former chief minister Siddaramaiah who is attending a naturopathy camp in Dharmasthala, during his visit to DK to inspect the damage caused by rain. Sources said the two leaders held a closed-door discussion for about half an hour.
The development caught the political circles by surprise, given the reports that CM Kumaraswamy and coalition government’s co-ordination committee head Siddaramaiah are not on the same page on tabling a new budget. However, the CM reportedly got approval for the same from AICC president Rahul Gandhi. When reporters sought Revanna’s reaction, he said he dropped in to enquire about Siddaramaiah’s health and maintained that no political discussions took place. Revanna said the CM will present a full budget.
