KALABURAGI: Concerned over lack of recruitments under the Special Reservation Quota of Article 371 (J), especially by boards/corporations and universities in Karnataka, the government has issued a circular to all its departments, semi-government and autonomous bodies to identify vacancies and complete recruitment process within three months.
State Chief Secretary K Ratna Prabha has stated in the circular that the rules will apply to direct appointments and promotions (even those employed on temporary basis, contract and outsourced employees) and those on deputation within Hyderabad Karnataka Region.
Speaking to The New Indian Express over the phone, Ratnaprabha said as per her information, only government departments have implemented the Article 371(J) rules and made recruitment to a considerable extent.But semi-government organisations and autonomous bodies are slack in recruitments.
