When I reminded them about giving Rs 50,000 through the village elders towards buying the property, Swamy who was already drunk pulled off my saree and tied me to a pole. He also tore my jacket only to insult me in public. He later hit me with a stone on my forehead and shoulder, while Madhukumar assaulted with a club. Gowramma hurled abuses and Manu kicked on my abdomen.” Sanna Bettamma, who was treated as an outpatient at the hospital, provided a copy of the same along with the documents related to the land.
