KOZHIKODE: Balu Kiriyath, general secretary of Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (Macta) handed over `2 lakh to Bicha Baburaj, wife of the late music director M S Baburaj, at her residence at Panniyankara on Saturday. The fund was collected in 2000 by organising a musical night to help the family of the late music director. The MACTA has been giving the interest of the `2 lakh that was deposited as fixed deposit in year 2000. The MACTA general body decided to give money to Bicha Baburaj following her request for help to renovate her house. Director Thaha, P V Gangadharan and script writer T A Razak and others were present.
