KOCHI: Mata Amritanandamayi Math will actively participate in the cleanliness project to be taken up in Sabarimala, the organisation said in a press statement.
Under the project, the Sabarimala Sannidanam and the premises of the Pamba river will be declared Cleanliness Zone. A number of organisations will be roped in for the implementation of the project.
The State Government has decided to make the Mata Amrithanandamayi Math’s ‘Amalabharatham Suchitwa Padathi’ part of the ‘Sabarimala Suchitwa Padhati’. Apart from Mata Amrithanandamayi Math members in Kerala, those from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka too will participate in the cleanliness drive. This is apart from the residents of the Ashram and the schools under the Amritanandamayi Math.
